Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By purchasing from The Okie Soapy Soap Shop, are agreeing to these terms & forming a legally binding contract. The Okie Soapy Soap Shop reserves the right to change or amend these terms without notice, please do check them regularly.
All payments are due upon reciept. If placing an order via our website full payment must be received for the order to be accepted. Along with your order you will be sent a reciept for the amount paid. If purchasing at a Craft Fair, reciepts can be requested.
Payments for bespoke/personalised orders are to be paid in full at the time of ordering. Work will not start until full payment has been received.
Delivery charges (where applicable) will be paid for by the customer at the time of purchase. All orders are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class. Orders placed after 2pm will be dispatched on the next available dispatch day. Orders are dispatched Tuesday – Friday.
Next Day delivery – ‘Next Day’ means next day from your order being processed and dispatced, not from the day of ordering.
Please note if you place an order that contains any products ‘available on back order’, your entire order will be held until everything is ready for dispatch. Most products on back order are dispatched within 3-4 weeks, you will be advised of this after we have received your order details.
If there is a delay in your order being dispatched, you will be contacted via email at the earliest opportunity.
If your order consists of personalised/bespoke item(s), a date will be agreed at the time of ordering when the items will be competed and dispatched.
Refunds & Returns
If you are un-happy with your order upon receipt, you must contact The Okie Soapy Soap Shop within 14 days, via Facebook or email. We need your full name, order number, along with an explanantion of why you wish to return*.
* Please note that under the Consumer Contracts (June 2014), if you have opened, un-sealed and/or used the items they can no longer be returned for a refund due to health & hygiene reasons.
* Refunds are not given on personalised/bespoke orders, as per Consumer Contracts.
* In addition, if you received a Free Gift with your order this must be returned in the condition it was dispatched in to qualify for the refund. Orders are to be returned at the cost of the buyer within 14 days of receiving them. They must be returned via recorded delivery. Once the items have been received, as long as they are in the condition they were originally dispatched in, a refund of the cost of the items will be given within 7 working days. If the items are returned in an unsaleable condition, this then forfeits your right to a refund.
Gift Vouchers can be purchased on our website and at Craft Fairs. They are to be used to purchase goods from the website, upto or over the face value of the Gift Voucher. Gift Voucher terms:
- Valid for 1 year from the date purchased – If the voucher is not used within the year, it is then invalid and holds no value
- Can not be exchanged for cash
- Only be used in a single transaction
- Can not be replaced if lost or stolen
- Amount does not include postage
- Any additional costs exceeding the value of this voucher will be paid by the redeemer
Gift Vouchers are available in £10, £15, £20 & £25 demoninations.
All items have an ingredients list on them, it is the buyers responsibility to check these are suitable. In addition, as much information as possible is given about the items online. Items also have a use by date on them given for guidance. These Terms & Conditions have been set in accordance to the new Consumer Contracts that came into force June 2014.

Placing an order
You can apply for a wholesale account via our ‘become a stockist‘ page. Once your account has been approved you will be able to login, view wholesale prices and place an order. You will also be able to see how many products are in stock or if you will be placing your order on a ‘back order’ basis. If you have a back order please allow upto 4 weeks for delivery. If your order is urgent please contact beforehand. Minimum order value is £100 plus delivery.
Orders can only be taken for the UK.
Pricing and payment
All prices are in GBP, the price you see is what you pay. There will be an additional fee for delivery, this will be calculated based on the weight of your order. Delivery charges start at £10 and depends on the weight of your complete order.
You are not permitted to sell any of our products above the RRP shown on the site.
Your order will be delivered by DPD. Upon placing an order you are required to leave an up to date email address and/or mobile phone number so that you can be sent the tracking, delivery date and time. Once your order has been dispatched you will be notified of this through DPD, on the morning of your delivery you will be notified with an hour slot your order will arrive in.
Cold process soap needs to cure for approximately 4 weeks before it can be sold therefore this must be taken into consideration when placing an order. If your order is urgent or would like to enquire before placing an order please contact us on email@example.com
Other products can be made fresh and so the general turn around for dispatching a large order is within 7 -10 working days.
We hope that you and your customers will be thrilled with your Okie Soapy order! However, if there are any problems we will be happy to help. All orders should be checked within 24 hours of receipt. If there are any problems, you must contact us immediately for it to be rectified. Your order will be packed thoroughly to ensure its safe arrival. Upon arrival it is your responsibility to store the products correctly.
We would like our customers to know where they can purchase Okie Soapy products locally, therefore we will add your store address and information to our website. We would also encourage you to share with us any images of our stock you have on display on Social Media so our customers can be informed this way too.
